Katrina graduated from New York University with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Childhood and Special Education due to her desire to advocate for children.  After working as a Special Education teacher for several years, she earned her Juris Doctor degree from Rutgers School of Law—Newark.  During her time at Rutgers, Katrina was an active member of various student advocacy organizations and spent two years working in the Rutgers Constitutional Rights Clinic.

Upon graduation from law school, Katrina served as the judicial law clerk to the Honorable Jeffrey D. Light, J.S.C. in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Chancery Division, Family Part, Atlantic County.  She joined Russell & Marinucci upon the completion of her clerkship.

Katrina is a member of the New Jersey State, Cape May County, and Atlantic County Bar Associations.  She is actively involved in the Atlantic County Bar Association’s Young Lawyer’s Division, where she currently serves as Parliamentarian after spending two years as the Director of Public Relations.  Katrina also volunteers her time as a judge for the Vincent J. Apruzzese High School Mock Trial Competition.
